When I say Profile it is the member name colouring I am talking about. Forum communities display members in many format like ‘Who’s Online’, ‘Number of New Registration’ e.t.c. However I have found that differentiating the members based upon their participation level and giving them different colours make a lot of impact on the community participation.
I would suggest to color your regular member, premium members, site donors, contributory members e.t.c. apart from Administrators, Super Moderators and Moderators.
I had seen members Craving to get those colors. In one other site, I found that based upon the seniority of the member on members posts, the color changed from light blue to dark blue to dark red.
Also it helps in making the forum member list colorful and vibrant.
